Free OpenStreetMap & Leaflet.js
Zero expensive Google Maps API credit card gates. Vendors can click-to-pin exact stall coordinates and customers navigate to pickup hubs using libre OpenStreetMap technology.
Role-Guarded Triple Architecture
Complete isolation between Customers, Farmers, and System Administrators with Laravel 12 LTS policy middleware, database foreign key integrity, and session sandboxing.

Equips small growers with enterprise-grade data: weekly revenue tracking, sales trends, top-selling harvest stock, and interactive dual-axis Chart.js visualizations.

"When we set out to build MarketLink for the Techwiz Hackathon 2026 under the theme of Local Food Systems & Community Agricultural Empowerment, we asked ourselves an essential question:
'How can software empower farmers without turning into just another greedy middleman taking a toll on their hard work?'
Our answer shaped every architectural decision in this project. We chose not to insert payment processors that skim fees from smallholder producers. We chose not to build an application requiring expensive enterprise cloud subscriptions or brittle compile chains. Instead, we designed a resilient, accessible, lightweight system that runs as effortlessly on basic shared cPanel servers as it does on modern cloud instances.
Over the course of this hackathon, our team poured countless hours into refining every workflow: from the interactive OpenStreetMap stall pickers and reusable weekly stock templates, to the live order status machine, the dynamic sales insight charts, and the zero-reload customer basket.
To the judges, mentors, and community members reviewing our work: MarketLink is our tribute to the growers who wake up before dawn to feed our communities. We hope this platform demonstrates how thoughtful technology can champion local agriculture with dignity, transparency, and pride."
